I just heard the announcement that the Track and Field meet has been cancelled for tomorrow.
It was another busy day at Bowmore. We had a fire drill and students in room 201 rose to the occasion.
Language Arts
We reviewed the deadlines and expectations of our book study.
Students are to complete two different novel studies with deadlines May 19th and June 5th (posted in the classroom). The outline is here. Time is given in class to read, write and create their book study projects. This is also homework, when needed.
Work on in class and at home. Tell me your chosen Book Study activity Monday.

Kid Nation question 2-5 due Monday.
We'll be viewing episode 3 on Tuesday.
Math - Fraction / proportional reasoning test on Wednesday.
Students will be going through a variety of questions and question sheets to prepare for this test over the next few days.
Science - grade 5 - We'll continue Explore Learning next Wednesday. (The chromebooks were unavailable tomorrow.)
Tomorrow students will go over vocabulary needed for our next unit of study: Forces acting upon structures. They'll be asked to create a word search or crossword puzzle based on 15 of the 24 terms given. (A term can include more than one word eg. internal force.
