Math concepts (homework for Nov. 27 and 28)

We are reviewing fractions including:

how to define a fraction
converting fractions into decimals
converting decimals into fractions
ordering fractions and/or decimals from least to greatest
ordering fractions and/or decimals from greatest to least
adding, subtracting fraction
multiplying fractions

using fraction strips to sow adding and subtracting fractions
using polygon shapes (hexagon etc.) to show adding or subtracting of fractions

Homework for the week of Nov. 10

Please remember it is Remembrance Day tomorrow.

I remember those who faught and those who struggle for peace around the world on this day especially.

We are continuing patterning and algebra in grade 8 Math.
Grade 7 math is geometry and spatial sense.

Language for this week:
finish genre pages
finish Veteran postcards.
