Math - We started our unit on Probability. Discussed examples of theoretical and experimental probability as well as probable, likely, unlikely events etc.
Language - Some students brought in their Book Study books. This is supposed to be in-class work (not homework). Please bring a book in every day.
For our next book study we will have book reading groups. I'll provide a choice of two-to-three titles.
We have a guest speaker on Friday. Thank you to those who gave a $2 donation to the school for the speaker. We can collect up until Friday.
Social Studies - We continued looking into our Government and the roles of people in the three levels. I've uploaded information from last week and videos from today on the Google Classroom for those who were absent or those who would like to review.
Students were given readings on either the Federal or Provincial election process. We will continue to look at the processes tomorrow.
Science - Grade 5 - bring your Vocabulary list word search and crossword to school tomorrow. Due to events the rest of the week's schedule, we have a double period of Science tomorrow morning.
No school next Monday.
Pool next Tuesday.
