Bowmore's K-6 classes had a chance to listen to the author and the subject of her books speak this morning. Thanks to those who donated $2. We will still be collecting money as our school only managed to raise less than 1/2 the amount we would expect to pay the authors.

We had our first book study presentation today. Many others have completed their assignment on time and will present on Tuesday.
For book study #2 please consider one of the four following titles.

I have copies from our school library for each of you. Some students have already made their choice. We were discussing that for the second book study one part could include a discussion element similar to Canada Reads - where you and your members compile a persuasive argument for "Why every grade 5/6 kids should read this book!"

Pool on Tuesday when you get back. Some students are competing in the track & field meet.
