The class spent quite a while collaborating and coming up with answers to homework assigned in Math. Not many people contributed or participated in class. When asked, students said seating arrangement and lack of paying attention caused them NOT to participate.
As we need to continue on our Math path for this year, I am giving a math quiz tomorrow.
Those who completed their homework consistently and on time will have absolutely NO problems completing this test. Those who are not asking for help and are consistently NOT doing homework will have difficulty. I am happy to give extra help anytime.
Homework for today:
L.A. - Spelling lessons 19 & 20 (terms in Geography and Science).
Due Thursday. We will spend last period Wednesday working on this.
Some students have lost their workbooks. If this is the case students are asked to TELL me.
Math - Quiz on areas of: trapezoid, parallelogram and triangle.
All activities 1-4 due for Gulliver's Travels.
Our next unit is Geometry (starts Wednesday) Math Makes Sense Chapter 7.
