homework for March 19th

Welcome back!
Today we started the day off with DPA.

Candyland won the first week. They will decide on preferred activity for this Friday.

Standings after today:
Superdupers 10
Candyland 10
Falcons 10
Team Chaotix 0

We discussed proper sentence structure and how to improve on sentences.
We discussed the difference between complexity (amount of detail) and variety (choice of words and when the subject appears in the sentence).
An active sentence has the subject at front performing the action.
A passive sentence is one that the action is being done on the subject.

We wrote a mock "what I did on March break" paragraph and practiced peer editing.

Two sentences were decided on: M(meaning) P(punctuation) S(spelling)
as well as

Connor - capitals
Goes - grammar (noun-verb agreement)
Motoring - meaning
Past - punctuation
Sesame - sentence structure
Street -spelling
