Thurs. April 20

Our class is practicing our routine for the Cooperation assembly. We have a few more days to fine tune before video recording.

Math - the fraction math package is due tomorrow. Students will have times throughout the day tomorrow to work on these assignments. Use your time wisely. Even though we have the Chromebooks booked, many of you have your Heritage Fair projects done and/or printed out. You can work on Heritage Fair, Art, and finishing the Math package. If the wifi is out, there is always something else you can accomplish.

Heritage Fair due Monday.
Some students should think of writing out a script for their Heritage Fair presentation. Make information interesting instead of just reading what you wrote on your project board.

Science - the grade 6s had Space Day, while the 5s learned about and created a non-Newtonian fluid. Fun!

It seemed that those who followed the instructions most closely, stayed the most clean AND created a successful experiment. That why experiments are written down with exact proportions, so experimental results are reproducible. :)

I've posted the two videos we watched in the Grade 5 Science Google Classroom for reference.
