Fri. April 28

It's bike to school week next week as well as Education Week.

Hi. Room 201's Cooperation assembly this morning was well received this morning. Ms McKay even came to visit our class to see what the class had presented.

Here is the copy of the Prezi.  I'm sorry I"m not posting the video because it has all the students' faces in it. It was awesome though. If you want to see it, ask me when you're around Bowmore.

After a week which included a Track & Field day, Heritage Fair and an assembly, it may be challenging to get back to routine next week. I know we will rise to the occasion though.\

Only homework is to make sure to submit the Canada 150 artwork and Math fraction package if it's still not handed in.
Here's's a fun website about the periodic table that has a little interactivity.
There is a pool on Monday period 1.

Also students are asked to pick a novel/ book to do a book study on the next few weeks. A book from a Canadian author would be great since we're trying a read 150 books by Canadians in the month of May challenge.
A few students created a chart paper sheet to help us remember many Canadian children's author.
You can also read non-fiction!

Have a nice weekend!\
