In the future - looking at the future of a few Ontario species

In the future poem

Written by 2/3 A & B

In the future we promise
To build less roads so the Blanding’s turtles can have homes and to build more tunnels so that they can travel safely.

In the future we promise
To plant trees after we cut them down so that caribou and fox can still hide from their predators.

In the future we promise
To not over hunt animals so they do not become extinct. And if we do, use all of their parts.

In the future we promise
To not pollute so that animals can be safe and sound.

Use the iPad to make a sketch of your drawing.

In your journal write why you think it is important for us to think about the future of animals and the Earth.
