Elements of Dance - with some video examples from discussion

We spoke about the vocabulary in describing the elements of dance today.

We also are using the mnemonic BERST 
Body, Energy, Relationship, Space and Tempo to describe parts and complete dances.
Symbolism, expression, and use of music is also going to be examined.

Here is a "hand dance" Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPq1_9DsLKk&feature=fvst  What I like about it is that the dancer used his knowledge of suffixes and root words to create his non-locomotor hand dance. :D
