Homework for Oct. 22

***updated at 6 p.m.***

You all have a Science test tomorrow on cells. Review your notes and think about the video you saw about water...Safe Water for all.

I gave you a fill in the blanks cell worksheet a few weeks ago to help you.

More review click here Cells alive!

Starting today the reading log consists of the three Rs - retell, relate, reflect.
This was due to a request from students.

Each R should be one paragraph minimum.

retell - summary of what you have read

relate - making connections to you, your life or an experience you have had / seen/ told about

reflect - what you think about what you have read (did you agree, disagree, what is new etc.)

I will share the rubric http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php?screen=ShowRubric&rubric_id=1477258&
that I am marking you on the three Rs tomorrow. We will be doing a practice 3Rs of this article tomorrow:

Math - continue with measurement concepts and conversion of units

Media - bitstrips (most are done), power point photos almost done

Drama - rubric for reading a radio play to be shared tomorrow. Practice both the Haunted Castle and the Taletown scripts (your parts). How can you make your part more interesting. Where would sound effects (called Foley) be effective. Do you have ideas about how you can make these sound effects?
