Messages can be written, verbal or non-verbal.

You are going to practice communicating messages using images, saving and attaching documents to TEL, as well as using the Word Drawing toolbar (eg. Drawing text boxes) and arranging images, during this quick assignment.

Guiding question: How can I communicate my emotions and feelings using technology?

Task:

Part A: Using Microsoft Word and one page 81/2 x 11 communicate how you are feeling about returning to school for 2008!

You must:

• use the entire page space (think of elements of design, use of space, use of pictures, arrangement of pictures)

• use images that communicate your feelings (show don’t tell)

• be appropriate and honest

Part B:

Save your document and send it to Miss Reinsalu using TEL communication software.

You must attach the document to a message and send it to her via valia.reinsalu@tel.tdsb.on.ca
