1. Pick a Celebration from the reading that you DON’T celebrate and write a COMPLETE expository paragraph based on your understanding of the reading.


2. Create a chart showing when in the year EACH celebration occurs.

3. Share a celebration (not necessarily a winter one) with the class.
Write one narrative paragraph (describing what you and/or your family) does for the celebration.



4. Draw a rough copy of a scene or symbol (real or your creation) that shows in a picture something NEW you have learned from the reading. (Any of the readings)
