Weekend Homework (Miss R has added info)

(added Sunday: please note...if you need help, please write a comment that specifically asks you question....a statement like "I don't get it..." does not make sense to me...I don't know 'WHAT" the IT is? Math, language, history? what exactly do you need clarification for??)

MATH

1. Worksheet (one page review of 2.1 -2.3 what is a ratio? equivalent ratios? comparing ratios (eg. which solution is the strongest?)

2. Older worksheets if not done (tsk tsk)
(There are two sets : one set has the conversion of metric units on the front, and concentrates on equivalent ratios)
(The second set concentrates on 2.4 - applying ratios eg. using scale if 1 cm : 2 m, what length is the real building that is drawn 5 cm?
well for every 1 cm you have 2 m so 5 cm = (5x2 = 10 m)
The real building is 10 m. )
Since we haven't had a chance to review this since I was away on Wednesday, try your best and bring questions Monday.)

LANGUAGE/ DRAMA/ etc etc
3. Bring sound for the scary story

Hand in your "The Last Mimzy" answers / L.A. notebook and Reading log on Monday morning during staff advisory.
