Choose a newspaper article that interests you from today's Toronto Star.
Cut it out and glue stick/ staple in your L.A. notebook for reference.
Write in complete sentences with detail.
1. What is the headline of the article?

3. What is the place line?
4. Which section is the story in? Does this make sense?
5. Are their any graphics (eg. charts, photos, maps, other) that go with the story?
If yes, how do the graphics help your understanding of the story?

6. A newspaper article is an example of non-fiction writing.
