I was quite disappointed that the purple folder (and green notebook) that I gave to keep all travel brochure research has been "used" as a Health folder from many of the boys in the class. You can purchase a folder from Mr. K for 25 cents (if you can't find one of your own).
I purchased purple folders for the class with my own money > $15.00 --- so that YOU, the students, can have a way to organize information. There was no cost involved for you.
Homework for the weekend:
Finish all of the writing (rough) and research (graphics etc.) for Travel Brochure.
We will spend time putting the brochure (power point, poster, small brochure) next week before going to Mono Cliffs.
Initial checklist for brochure:Graphicsn(photos/diagrams/drawings): Elements
- Company name, slogan and logo (two places)
- landmarks (historical, physical, cultural) (two total)
- movement picture/photo 1 & 2 (two total)
- interaction picture/photo 1 & 2 (two total)
- map of your country indicating location of city (minimum 1)
- map of your city (detailed minimum 1)
- MYP theme picture / photo (Guiding question: How do people live effectively within their environment?) (two total)
- Date checked (signed by teacher)
