Hi there!

Today is International Water Day. It's a United Nations day for us to remember that water is a precious resource. This year's theme is the scarcity of water.

For S.A. today we practiced making 2D and 3D shapes using elastic cords - sort of a drama - movement - group work activity.

Then we worked on Student Activity 1 - Gulliver's Travels. (We will be working on this at school only.)

Homework tonight:

Math - complete page one of Math 6.4
Novel study/L.A. - bring in 15 words (from the novel - interesting and/or new) with definition, and used in a new sentence Friday
- bring a rough copy of his summary of the novel (remember you are to have finished reading your novel Friday!!)

- the title page should be finished

History/Geography - while some are finished, I'm giving more time for students to complete Q1-11 on Sierra Leone
- we worked in our table groups finding examples and definitions from the text book on the five themes of Geography

- place / region
- movement
- environment
- interaction

groups will present their findings and notes made (on chart paper) next Tuesday
