Hi. The Ice Cream Shop had a great first day at lunch. So far, students raised 30 dollars and a bit towards the Free the Children Clean Water campaign.

Homework for tonight.
Math test - It was not apparent that students studied for their algebra test yesterday.
We are starting a new unit on probabilty.
No homework tonight other than BRING A CALCULATOR TO SCHOOL.
sorry for shouting, but some of the math we do will require calculators. My four are already missing so I will not be purchasing any more to share.
I still also haven't seen any protractor sets which means we haven't worked with compasses....students will be behind their peers in grade 8!!
L.A. - poetry picture dictionaries are overdue.
Math - Name - transformations - translation, reflection, rotations....overdue!
Travel brochures...yep, still some students have not handed it in!!
We start an examination of graphic novels tomorrow.
