I hope you had a great day!!
I am learning a lot more about how to use the new version of TEL effectively with students (and for myself as well). I hope to show you some cool ways to communicate and show your understanding after our Monocliffs trip!
Remember the Audacity program groups used to record their stories? I now have a way to store podcasts (well, short ones). I learned a lot more too.
Homework for tonight.
Math - bring a change of shoes (so you don't need to have sock feet inside the cabins to clean the floor AREA with your feet)
- bring a healthy and litterless lunch for tomorrow (Mono cliffs will be measuring the MASS of non-recyclable garbage that we produce)
- bring appropriate clothing, medication and items from the "to bring" list (we don't want your core temperature to go up (or down) from 37 degrees Celcius
L.A./Geography -
Here's some information about the physical region of Mono Cliffs. http://www.torontohiking.com/Hikes/L13mcliff/l13mcliff.html
Which animals do you think live here? Why?
Make sure all of your Travel Brochure information is stored (in the purple folder, with the green notebook ) in a safe place so you can continue after the trip.
Digital cameras? Take pictures, memories - leave (limited) footprints!!
Downtime - How do we interact with others in a postive way?
Bring cards, board games, sketchbooks, etc...
See you tomorrow!
