Hi! We had a quiet day. Although only a couple of students were on a ski trip, a few more missed out today. We started off the core class on the computers. After much fiddling, I was able to show some suggested sites including http://www.fablevision.com/ (a site to enhance your multiple intelligences :) )

In Math we reviewed the different "attributes" of shapes eg. number of sides, number of vertices, pairs of parallel sides, and types of angles.

In the afternoon we listened to the script/short story readings. Students read their stories quite clearly, with good cooperation and teamwork. Students, as a whole, could have read the scripts more smoothly (eg. practice to know their cues), some struggled at some points, others read a bit quickly.(Those were Miss R's stars and wishes.) I would have liked to hear more students' feedback.
We will continue this recording idea next term (with individual readings).

Here are the standings at the end of the day.

Falcons 10
Candyland 70
Superdupers 10
Team Chaotix 70

Hmmm...a reminder that most points were gained for cooperation and homework completion. Other points were lost from gum chewing, eating and talking back.

Let's work on the positives!
Math homework: complete 6.3 (calculating areas of trapezoids)
L.A. - read 20 minutes
History/Geography - all Acadia sheets due (overdue)
